Playmaker Kaka has been sidelined since the summer with a left knee problem but took part in regular training with Jose Mourinho’s side on Saturday morning ahead of their Sunday encounter against Sevilla.
There was further good news for the Portuguese tactician as Sergio Ramos and Fernando Gago were also able to join the bulk of the squad in their limbering up exercises prior to the weekend fixture at the Bernabeu. While Gago has also been a long-term problem, swashbuckling defender Ramos sustained minor ligament damage in his right knee last weekend. He was not expected to come into Mourinho’s thinking for the match against his formative club, but he now has a very real chance to play.
Mourinho is expected to name has panel of players for the match against los Nervionenses around lunchtime on Saturday.
