Atletico Madrid boss Quique Sanchez Flores is confident his side can come back from a two-goal deficit against Real Madrid, after losing 3-1 in the Copa del Rey quarter-final first leg.The tactician knows the Rojiblancos are extremely competitive in two-leeged ties, and will be counting on this to see the side progress to the semi-finals of the competition.
"We can climb back from this result, as over two legs, we are hyper-competitive," Sanchez Flores told Eurosport after the match. "We will also recover several players, and make every effort to overcome our opponents next week.
"At the same time, though, we cannot neglect the league and our position in it.
"Real Madrid played with an intensity that I had not seen when they faced us in the league. They were a good side and impressed me a lot," he concluded.
