Los Premios GQ gozan de prestigio internacional ya que se trata de una de las revistas más influyentes en el mundo y que anualmente premia a las personalidades del cine, de la literatura, del deporte, del arte, de la música, de la moda, etc.
Antonio Banderas, Pedro Almodóvar, Lio Messi, Fernando Torres, Iker Casillas y Robinho son solo algunos de los que han recibido el reconocimiento de GQ. Creemos que la elección es totalmente acertada por tratarse de un futbolista que ha demostrado su gran capacidad en el mundial de Sudáfrica al conducir a Uruguay a una clasificación histórica y posteriormente al ponerse al Atlético de Madrid a las espaldas para llevarlo a los campeonatos conseguidos.
