Atletico Madrid keeper David de Gea has been passed fit to take his place in goal in tomorrow’s meeting with Valencia at the Vicente Calderon.The 20-year-old had been struggling with a muscle injury suffered while on international duty for Spain’s under-21’s in midweek, but has been deemed fit enough to be included in Quique Sanchez Flores’ squad for the match.
A surprising exclusion however is Brazilian midfielder Elias, who has been on international duty this week but trained as normal this morning, however has been left out of the final 18.
Midfielder Mario Suarez has recovered to return to the fold after being missing for the last few weeks through injury.
