According to reports, Manchester City are lining up a €100 million bid to bring Barcelona midfielder Andres Iniesta to Eastlands.Iniesta finished an almost perfect season last time around by scoring the winning goal for Spain in the World Cup in South Africa and he is now in contention for winning the FIFA Ballon d'Or.
"Iniesta has had a great year and has come through the Barcelona youth system, but this does not mean that the Catalan club do not consider a good offer," a representative of Manchester City was quoted as saying by Marca.
Barcelona's financial situation is no secret and such large offers for any player may be considered by Blaugrana officials.
